Dear Friends of MITCH,
Thank you for your support of MITCH during 2014. What a year it has been, with wonderful performances from both our accomplished, established musicians and also the talented young performers, all showing what an abundance of talent we are fortunate to have within the Mount Macedon & Hepburn Shires. We look forward to bringing you more of the same in 2015 and beyond.
There will be a small rise in ticket price in 2015: for Adults from $25.00 each to $30.00, for Pensioner & Students from $20.00 each to $25.00. If you wish, however, to subscribe to the 4 MITCH concerts for the year, the old price applies: i.e. four concerts for $100. If subscribing is of interest to you, please let us know and will we will arrange for your subscription to come to you. You may also wish to offer this as a gift to family and friends.
Our Summer concert next year, which once again is a family picnic day, will be at Cope-Williams Winery, Romsey, on Sunday 22 February. We encourage you to come along, with family and friends and a picnic basket, and enjoy the surroundings of the cricket ground and vineyard, and then the concert at 2.30pm on the Royal Tennis Court. Henry Vyhnal our Music & Program Director is, as usual, working tirelessly to bring you yet another splendid day of music. As part of the MITCH Summer Concert we will also be announcing the winner of the MITCH Young Musician of the Year.
Other 2015 concerts date for your diary:
- Autumn Concert – Sunday 19 April 2015
- Winter Concert – Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd August2015
- Spring Concert – Sunday 18 October 2015
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters, our sponsors, those who have opened their homes and properties to us, and those whose extra financial support has enabled MITCH to continue encouraging young musicians in their endeavours. Also a very big thank you to the committee members who give so much of their time to make MITCH what it has become.
I wish you all the very best for the Festive Season and may 2015 bring you all you wish for.
